Is it too much to ask for some fanfiction that’s just Laura & Derek interacting, maybe after the fire and having to deal with the loss of their family and surviving together.
And Derek’s being all angsty and depressed because he blames himself and Laura’s trying to take care of them and deal with Derek but goddamn it she’s trying to deal with her entire family’s death too and it’s so flippen’ hard sometimes and they’re both just so emotionally constipated and grieving and they don’t know how to deal with each other. And then they get in a big fight and part ways but then maybe it looks like they’re on the road to reconciling, maybe they’re finally talking to each other, for real talking, and they plan to meet up to work things out because they’re family and they need each other and they miss each other and Derek’s starting to think that maybe, just maybe, Laura will understand about Kate, and Laura wants her little brother to know that she cares about him and she misses him and maybe thing’s will get better. But then BOOM she’s dead and Derek is back down in the hellhole that is his own guilt and everything is just terrible.
And I don’t want Stiles involved at all. Nothing against Stiles, I just wish there were a Laura & Derek fic that didn’t revolve around Sterek. >:T
