Who are you people

I understand that movies can’t be the exact same as the books, in fact they shouldn’t! It’s an adaption, and if it was exactly the same it would be boring. But one thing that I was honest to god disappointed about was a single line that they changed.

During the first interview when Katniss told Caesar that Primrose asked her to win, he asks her what she said back.

In the book she replied “I told her I would.”

In the movie she replied “I told her I would try.”

And I mean, I just felt like in the book that was her strongest line. I will win. I will do anything to win, I am going to beat this, I am a force to be reckoned with. It got me believing in her.

But in the movie, what, you’ll try? Well of course you’re gonna try, everyone’s trying, it’s not that spectacular.

Augh, maybe I’m being nitpicky but, gnar it just bugs me >:/

Finished The Hunger Games on break at work, had a pretty clear image of Katniss in my head! quick cool-down before bed, trying to get more oomph in character designs
