-Who’s more dominant?

Hrm, this is a hard one. Early on in the show, and later too I guess, Dean has pretty easily manipulated Cas by threatening their friendship. On the other hand, Cas can be extremely stubborn when he gets an idea into his head. I guess in a way They both have far too much of an affect on each other for either to truly control the other. Cas depends on Dean too much and is desperate for his continued approval, and while while Dean used to take advantage of that he rarely does anymore, since Cas has become more important to him. Meanwhile, Cas doesn’t always listen to Dean. I think in a way Dean is more dominant because he usually believes he knows best (and he’s usually correct at that) but I dunno. Actually yeah, probably Dean.

-Who’s the cuddler?

I think Cas. Dean still has a lot of hang-ups in regards to masculinity that Cas does not, and besides, the sensation of touch is still more of a novelty to Cas then it is to Dean. As a result Cas usually initiates the cuddles while Dean grumbles about girly angels and c’mon what are you five but it’s really only a token protest, and he returns to affection soon enough.

-Who’s the big/little spoon?

Once again Dean is sort of uncomfortable with the whole “spooning with a guy thing”, and if you asked him he’d say he’s definitely the big spoon, but it’s actually Cas that usually ends up in that role. Dean doesn’t know why but he just sleeps better like that. Cas hasn’t told Dean this, but it’s because he likes covering them with his wings.

-What’s their favorite non-sexual activity?

Hunting, duh.

Oh, and probably watching movies and tv. Cas has quite a bit of pop culture to brush up on, and while he acts exasperated Dean privately finds Cas’ confused questions amusing.

-A head-cannon:

Cas has privately considered trying to find a female vessel to make Dean more comfortable with a romantic relationship, but rejected the idea because he felt that would be disrespectful of Jimmy’s sacrifice.

Neither really, Dave could never control John (he’d be far to busy trying to impress him) and John would be far to busy teasing Dave’s attempts at impressing him. Bros through and through, I think they’d respect each other too much to ever even consider dominating the other, and I also think both of them are a bit too strong minded to ever truly submit to each other either. Stubborn babbies.

- Who’s the cuddler?

Hmm, I had to think about this one. Probably Dave, though he would try to deny it and blame all instances of the cuddles on John. But I think growing up with a distant older brother he may be a little affection starved in a way John isn’t growing up with his doting dad. This isn’t to say Dave would necessarily be good at it, mind. In fact he’d probably be hesitant and awkward and nervous, but still, he’s the one that initiates it. John enjoys just kinda lets him do his thing with only minimal teasing. So in short, Dave’s the cuddler because he wants it more, but John’s more comfortable with it.

- Who’s the big spoon/little spoon?

Neither, Dave can’t go to sleep on his side and John flails around a bit too much when he’s dreaming. The end result is that Dave often just flops half on top of John to keep his limb movement to a minimum and John sleeps on his back. The positions invariably change throughout the night and you can’t predict what they’ll be like come morning.

- What’s their favorite non-sexual activity?

Dave’s is Rapping, humor writing, music mixing while John’s is practical jokes, watching movies, and attempting to program. But you know all that. Together the activities they really enjoy are playing video games and just chilling.

- A head cannon:

Hoo boy. I’m gonna do this in an alt. universe where sburb never happened mmkay? Um, okay so I think that When Dave & John start dating Dave is all for introducing John to his Bro but John’s a bit more ambivalent because Dave’s descriptions of Bro have always seemed a little bit Skeevy. Anyway the day of introduction finally arrives and Dave brings John to his apartment only to find it neigh unrecognizable. The weird puppet shit is gone, their are no sharp weapons about, it actually looks like someone made an attempt to clean it. Dave finds it all really unsettling, and had to double check that it was his apartment. He then goes looking for his bro while John hangs out in the main room wondering what the hell is going on. John then notices the trap door on the ceiling and, well, curious, he tugs it open. The resulting avalanche of shit only very nearly avoids killing John thanks Bro appearing out of fricking nowhere and tugging him away like some sort of fricking action hero or something. Though he has no proof Dave always kind of suspected he’d planned it, and rarely brought John over ever again.

I remember hearing the election results this morning on the radio. The initial report I heard was pretty neutral and just amounted to “oh hey, Chavez’s guy won,” but damn. No one’s immune from corruption, but it’s really disappointing to hear it’s going on here.

So what’s going on in Boston right now is pretty fucking scary, right? And, like me, you’re probably sitting in front of your computers in varying places around the world, feeling pretty helpless.

I know I am. I never know what to say when things like these happens. But it occurred to me, as I was reading through the news, that a lot of the people that follow me here have one thing in common - a burning love for Captain Marvel. And you know where Carol Danvers is from? Boston. So here’s what we’re going to do, Carol Corps!

If you are in the local area, and you want to donate blood, fucking kudos! The Red Cross has announced that they are currently fine with blood, but they WILL need more over the next week to replenish supplies that will be used today and tomorrow. Find your local Red Cross here, and call to see if they are in need.

More than blood, the Red Cross are going to need funds. Disasters like this are going to tap emergency services dry, so if you can donate, DO DONATE. This is the perfect thing to do for those of us not in the area, who can’t donate blood for any reason, like me. I know a lot of us are financially strapped right now, but $5 isn’t much, right? If 100 people donate $5, suddenly you have an ass-crap-ton of money. Let’s get a donate chain going, Carol Corps! If you were setting aside some money for my next commission sale, I would much rather you donate it today!

Now, let’s take care of ourselves. I’m following the BBC for news updates, because I personally find a lot of american news stations to be biased and kinda scary. But Wolf Blitzer had a moment of wisdom in which he urged people not to jump to conclusions. As yet, no group of organisation has claimed responsibility for these explosions. We do not know who caused them. Please don’t panic, and don’t jump to unfounded conclusions!
